TxtRemind ("the App") is a simple reminder tool that lets you share text messages and set reminders to action them later. This privacy policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

TxtRemind is designed with privacy in mind. The App:

• Does not collect personal information. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.
• Does not transmit data off your device. All reminder data (message text, reminder times, and notes) is stored locally on your device in a private database. Nothing is sent to our servers or any third party.
• Does not use analytics or tracking. The App contains no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking code of any kind.
• Does not access your SMS messages. The App only receives text that you explicitly share with it via Android's share sheet. It cannot read your messages independently.

Data Stored on Your Device

When you share a message with TxtRemind and set a reminder, the following is stored locally on your device:

• The text content you shared
• The reminder date and time you selected
• Any optional note you added
• The reminder status (pending, fired, or dismissed)

This data remains on your device and is never uploaded, synced, or shared. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored data.

Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

• Notifications - To deliver reminder notifications at your scheduled time.
• Exact Alarms - To ensure reminders fire at the precise time you set.
• Boot Completed - To reschedule pending reminders after your device restarts.

No permission is used for any purpose other than delivering your reminders.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

Third-Party Services

TxtRemind does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, APIs, advertising networks, or analytics platforms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
